Description
HARNESS THE MIGHTY BLACK

The Mighty Black Pro has been redesigned and reengineered to give players all of the benefits of composites, without sacrificing the benefits of the best metal shafts. At only 145 grams, the new Mighty Black PRO™ Pro is still incredibly light, but now it’s also incredibly stiff, with zero flex, giving you both the power AND consistency you crave out of a composite shaft. The carbon weave pattern shaves off weight and maintains incredible dent resistant strength. The new matte and pebble finishes provide grip, the traditional octagonal shape feels right in your hands, and the dark colorway lets the competition know you means business. Light, strong, and stiff. The Powell Mighty Black Pro is next level composite technology.

So this shaft is insanely light and stiff for the price point HOWEVER it chips like no other and when I drilled a hole for my duel, the screw ripped through the shaft. However, the whole I drilled was right between the two pre-drilled holes so that may have had something to do with it. This was an easy fix though, I simply drilled a hole in the front and filled the head around. That along with the chipping is what earned this a 3 star rating but if you are planning on using a normal head that will fit the pre-drilled holes and don’t care about the chipping, I would recommend this shaft

*UPDATE*
The new screw I drilled for my duel is starting to rip through the shaft after a minimal amount of faceoffs. This is an incredibly soft shaft and would probably be fine if you are using it for normal attack and midi play, although DO NOT use this for faceoffs if you don’t want to have to replace it withing a season (due to the ripping)
