It has been a crazy college lacrosse season, but we have made it to the final weeks of the regular season. Some teams will have their seasons ended, while others prepare for their conference playoffs and the beginning of the road to the National Championship. Many teams are still fighting to claw their way into the postseason in their conference races so these games will feature players doing anything to extend their seasons for at least one more week, especially the seniors. Get ready for a another wild week of lacrosse. These are some of the games we will be watching in this final week of April.
#7 Syracuse vs North Carolina
Watch on Watch ESPN at 6 PM
Syracuse may still be able to get an at large bid in the NCAA playoffs if they lose this game, but it’s crucial for them to win to move on in the ACC tournament and give themselves the best chance. UNC’s season could be over if they lose so they will be doing anything to win and keep their season alive. Syracuse beat UNC 12-9 earlier this season.
Canisius vs Marist
Watch on ESPNU at 4 PM
This is a must win game for the defending MAAC Champions Canisius as they need to beat Marist to clinch a spot in the MAAC conference playoffs. They will be facing a very good Marist squad who has already clinched their playoff spot. This will be a dogfight featuring two bitter rivals and for added drama it will be broadcast nationally on ESPNU.
#15 UMass vs #20 Delaware
Watch on Lax Sports Network at 5 PM
UMass and Delaware have had incredible seasons and the Blue Hens have emerged as a Top 20 team once again in 2019. They will travel to UMass and face the Garber Gorillas to see who could be the #1 team in the CAA alongside Towson. Garber Field is one of the toughest places to play in the country.

#10 Ohio State vs Michigan
Watch on ESPNU at 6 PM
One of the biggest rivalries in college sports will be played on the lacrosse field as the Buckeyes face the Wolverines in Ann Arbor. Michigan’s postseason hopes are gone, but winning this game would be a tremendous way to send off its seniors. OSU needs a win to keep their postseason hopes alive.
Stony Brook vs UAlbany
Watch on Stony Brook Athletics Live at 7 PM
Stony Brook made the America East conference race a lot more interesting with their win over Vermont last weekend. The Seawolves could earn the #1 seed and host the America East tournament with a win over Albany, but the Danes are ready to start their run to the postseason and will not go down without a fight.
#9 Cornell vs Princeton
Watch on ESPN+ at 12 PM
Princeton has clawed its way to a slim chance of making the Ivy League playoffs, but one of the best offensive teams in the country stands in its way in Cornell. The scenarios for Princeton to make it are pretty wild so this game is likely to have a dramatic finish.
How weird is this: If Brown beats Dartmouth then Cornell is out of the ILT if it loses to Princeton by 3, 4 or 5 but in if it loses by 1 or 2 or 6 or more. If Brown wins the Tigers just need a win by 3 or more. https://t.co/F9wE8lCqRM pic.twitter.com/0JaM436OzA

#12 High Point vs Richmond
Watch on ESPN+ at 12 PM
The SoCon race has been fun to watch all year and now High Point and Richmond will play to determine seedings for the conference tournament. The Panthers need a win to get the #1 seed, but the Spiders would love to get a win against the SoCon favorite heading into the postseason.
#1 Penn State vs Rutgers
Watch on Big Ten Network 2 Go at 2:30 PM
Can anyone beat Penn State? Since the Nittany Lions loss to Yale in February, they have been unstoppable. They are balanced defensively and offensively making it incredibly difficult to gain an edge on them. Rutgers beat Ohio State when they were unbeaten earlier in the season so the Scarlet Knights are no strangers to upsets. Rutgers will need to do well on faceoffs and contain Penn State’s Grant Ament.
Division 2 Game of the Week
#16 Lynn vs Saint Leo
Watch on Sunshine State Conference Digital Network on Thursday 4/25 at 5 PM
The 2018 D2 National Championship runners up, Saint Leo, will try and go on another playoff run starting with their semifinal game in the Sunshine State conference playoffs against fellow Florida team Lynn. These teams know each other well and Lynn beat Saint Leo in overtime this past weekend to claim the regular season title. Who will come out on top in the playoffs?

In this battle of Ohio teams Denison and Ohio Wesleyan will play for the top spot in the North Coast conference.
