I hope everyone has filled out their brackets for college basketball’s March Madness because that might be more predictable than the college lacrosse landscape is right now. There are no safe games anymore as anybody can beat anybody across the country as conference play has started up. Here are some of the games we’re looking forward to this week.
#11 Notre Dame vs Michigan

Two big football rivals will meet on the lacrosse field for this Tuesday afternoon game that will be on ESPNU. Notre Dame will be eager to avenge their loss to Michigan last season and the Wolverines will try to beat the Irish two years in a row.
Colgate vs Hobart
Watch on the Patriot League Networkat 4 PM
These two Upstate teams have been impressive so far this season as Colgate took down Syracuse earlier this year and Hobart’s only loss was to Cornell by a few goals.
Boston U vs Harvard
Watch on the Patriot League Networkat 7 PM
This year’s edition of the Battle For Boston will be a good one as Boston has been on a tear so far this season and Harvard is better than their record shows. We will find out which team is the best in Boston.
Canisius vs Siena

This is a huge MAACtion matchup as both teams have had impressive seasons so far. Siena is 2-0 in MAAC play and the Griffs are coming off an upset win over #19 Colgate this past Saturday heading into their first conference game.
#8 Towson vs #13 Denver

The Tigers have fallen from their #1 ranking, but are still one of the best teams in the country and will have to face an angry Denver squad that is still reeling from a loss to Notre Dame. Towson will want payback after losing to the Pioneers in overtime last season.

#14 Georgetown vs Marquette

Georgetown is quietly having a great season and will face a talented Marquette team in the first Big East game of the year.
#5 Cornell vs #17 Penn

This is a big Ivy League game for both teams as Cornell is coming off a loss to Yale and Penn just beat Princeton handily. Both teams need to get an edge in the Ivy standings. Penn has been pulling off some ridiculous goals.

#11 Notre Dame vs #7 Ohio State

Another game featuring traditional football rivals that will now battle on the lacrosse field. Ohio State is looking for its first signature win and Notre Dame will need some luck of the Irish to get past the only unbeaten team left in the country.
#4 Maryland vs #19 North Carolina

These two teams meet once again in one of the great college lacrosse rivalries in recent memory and a rematch of the 2016 National Championship game.
#16 Johns Hopkins vs #9 Virginia
Watch on ESPN3at 6 PM
The Blue Jays will play the Hoos once again in this historic rivalry. This is always an intense game that has been decided by 1 or 2 goals the past several years.
#12 Syracuse vs #2 Duke
Watch on ESPNU at 2 PM
The Orange and Blue Devils will cap off this week of lacrosse in an ACC matchup that both teams will desperately want to win. Syracuse staged a comeback last season to beat Duke at home that was featured in an episode of “The Season” last year.
