In the last week of March, many teams are at the turning point of their seasons as top teams need to continue to play strong and struggling teams need to claw their way back to playoff contention. Lacrosse fans will be treated to 4 games on national TV this week on ESPNU. This week we also feature some big Division 2 and 3 games as there is amazing college lacrosse being played not just in Division 1, but all across the country at every level. Here are some of the games we at Powell Lacrosse are looking forward to this week.

#7 Virginia vs Utah

In their first season, Utah is no stranger to facing Top 10 teams and putting up a good fight. Utah hung with Duke for two quarters earlier this season, but now faces a Virginia team that hasn’t faltered since their surprise loss to High Point in February.
#4 Ohio State vs Rutgers

#1 Penn State vs #3 Maryland
Watch on Big Ten Network Go at 7 PM
This is the heavyweight match up of the weekend as these two teams will battle for the title of #1 team in the country. With a win, Maryland would likely take over the #1 spot and with Penn State’s superstar Grant Ament day to day with an injury the Terps could take advantage.
With Grant Ament healthy, Penn State’s offense is one of the most lethal in the country.
