Happy 4th of July weekend and what better way to celebrate than to sit back and watch some incredible MLL and PLL lacrosse games. It is another jam packed weekend as both leagues will play 3 games and teams will need to start trying to assert themselves to solidify their playoff positions early and not have to play catch up later in the season. So grab a drink and celebrate America’s independence as you can tune in to the games that we are excited to watch this weekend.
Redwoods vs Archers
Watch on NBC Sports Gold at 5 pm ET
The Redwoods have to be feeling good after beating the previously unbeaten Whipsnakes last week, but will face an Archers team that will be playing angry after a frustrating loss. Kyle Harrison cam in clutch last week to give the Redwoods their win.

Whipsnakes vs Atlas
Watch on NBC Sports Network at 8 pm ET
The Whipsnakes and Atlas meet for the second time this season with the Whipsnakes winning the first one at Homewood Field two weeks ago. The Atlas will be looking for revenge for returning the Hopkins alumni’s return to Homewood, but will need a stronger 4th Quarter if they want to get by the dangerous Whipsnakes.
Atlanta Blaze vs Chesapeake Bayhawks
Watch on ESPN+ or Majorleaguelacrosse.com at 7 pm ET
The Blaze put on a show against the Bayhawks just a week ago when they met in Annapolis with the Blaze escaping with the win. The Bayhawks have gone from 2-0 to 2-2 in quick fashion with their most recent loss coming on July 4th where they were one goal away from spoiling the Outlaws fireworks show, but look out for them to be ready for Atlanta’s high powered offense led by Shayne Jackson and Randy Staats this time around. Chris Madalon was a menace in net the last time these teams met.

Boston Cannons vs Dallas Rattlers
Watch on NBCSports.com at 1:30 pm ET
The Cannons were so close to staying undefeated, but the Denver Outlaws just came up with one more groundball and shot to give the Cannons their first loss. They will have a great chance to rebound against the struggling Dallas Rattlers, but it won’t be easy as this Rattlers team is on the cusp of putting it all together for their first win.
Chaos vs Chrome
Watch on NBC Sports Network at 3 pm ET
Last weekend we were treated to an amazing back and forth game between these two teams that ended with the Chaos winning it in overtime. The biggest storyline in their rematch will be if Chrome goalie Brett Queener will start in net after coming in and igniting Chrome’s near comeback last game.

New York Lizards vs Atlanta Blaze
Watch on WatchStadium at 4 pm ET
The New York Lizards finally got their first win thanks to the record breaking performance of Rob Pannell who became the Lizards’ all-time leading scorer last weekend. They might be able to catch Atlanta off guard if they push the pace early as the Blaze will play their second game in two days, but often times the team coming off of a game plays better the day after so the Lizards cannot bank on the Blaze having tired legs.
