Welcome to the busiest weekend of lacrosse we will have all fall! There is so much lacrosse to watch this weekend it will be tough to keep up. All 72 WILC games will be available to watch for free on Lax Sports Network the next two weeks, but the must watch game of the weekend is the PLL Championship that will be shown on the NBC main network. Make sure to tune in to show NBC that lacrosse fans are ready for lacrosse to be a mainstay on primetime TV. Here are the PLL, MLL, and WILC games we are excited to watch this weekend.

Thursday 9/19

Iroquois Nationals vs Israel
Watch on Lax Sports Network at 7:30 pm ET

The Iroquois Nationals are a must watch team with the likes of the Four Thompson brothers, Randy Staats, Tehoka Nanticoke, Cody Jamieson, Zed Williams, and a roster full of some of the most creative players in the world. Israel will give them a good first test with squad that has lots of box experience as well as former and current NLL players like Chad Culp, Zach Higgins, and Jean- Luc Chetner.

The Iroquois Nationals always have some of the best looking jerseys in lacrosse.

USA vs Canada
Watch on Lax Sports Network at 7:30 pm ET

Perhaps the greatest rivalry in lacrosse will be reignited on the box lacrosse floor as the U.S team has put together a strong group of players with NLL experience to try and upset the reigning world champions. Canada is scary good and will need to be focused in their first game of the tournament against this talented U.S. team. Expect an intense game between these two great lacrosse nations.

Friday 9/20

Denver Outlaws (9-6) vs Chesapeake Bayhawks (9-6)
Watch on Lax Sports Network at 8 pm ET

It will come down to the last weekend of the MLL regular season between the Outlaws and Bayhawks to decide who will claim the #1 seed in the playoffs. These two teams have both had up and down seasons, but one of them will now finally secure the top spot for the postseason. This game will be extra interesting with big names on both teams playing in the WILC. Denver will be without Dillon Ward and Zach Currier while the Bayhawks will lose Lyle Thompson and Brendan Bomberry.

Saturday 9/21

Atlas (6-5) vs Archers (6-6) 1st Draft Pick Game
Watch on NBC Sports Gold at 11:30 am ET

The Archers and Atlas will play in the first ever 1st Draft Pick game to decide who will get to pick the best college player in next year’s draft. It may not be a championship, but these teams will be playing for pride and for a chance to set themselves up for a great season in 2020. These teams will also be without some of their top players because of the WILC.

Whipsnakes (7-4) vs Redwoods (7-5) PLL Championship
Watch on NBC at 2:30 pm ET

After an incredible first season of the PLL it all comes down to this game. Broadcast on NBC’s main network, the first ever PLL Championship could be remembered as a key turning point for lacrosse in the mainstream. The Whipsnakes and Redwoods will hopefully put on a good show in front of an international audience. The last time they played each other the Whipsnakes pummeled the Redwoods, but the Woods have become an entirely different team since then. It will be an all out war as these team battle to be the first to ever raise the PLL Trophy.

Last weekend the Redwoods proved everybody wrong to get to the championship.

Dallas Rattlers (6-9) vs Boston Cannons (9-6)
Watch on Watch Stadium at 5pm ET

The Rattlers have been eliminated from the playoffs while the Cannons have secured their postseason berth. The Rattlers will want to end their season on a good note and will be playing hard to beat a Cannons team that will be without several key players because of the WILC.

Atlanta Blaze (8-7) vs New York Lizards (4-11)
Watch on Majorleaguelacrosse.com/watch at 7 pm ET

Similar to the Rattlers vs Cannons game, the Lizards are out of the playoffs, but will be hungry to end their season with a win as well.

USA vs Iroquois Nationals
Watch on Lax Sports Network at 10:30 pm ET

The U.S. team will have its hands full against this stacked Iroquois team, but could have their best chance to win a big game against them. If the U.S. can stay out of the penalty box and be disciplined on both sides of the ball, they could take advantage of any Iroquois slip ups caused by the Nationals high risk high reward style and pull out a win. However, the Iroquois will take advantage of any mistakes the U.S. players make.

What games are you most excited for this weekend? The PLL Championship? The World Indoor games?
